EN 285 specifies requirements and the relevant tests for large steam sterilizers primarily used in health care for the sterilization of one or more sterilization modules (300mm x 300mm x 600mm) for wrapped goods (instruments etc. and porous loads).
prEN 13060 specifies the requirements for different types of small sterilizers.
EN 554 specifies requirements for the process development, validation, process control and the monitoring of the sterilization of medical devices using moist heat.
