It is not really a question of advantages or disadvantages of differing sterilizer manufacturers. If you specify exactly what you want a sterilizer to do and define precisely how the performance of the sterilizer is to be tested (perhaps referring to a recognised validation protocol) then any manufacturer, including the two that you mentioned, will be able to produce a suitable sterilizer. The use of a succesful sterilizer is as much to do with the purchaser as it is with the manufacturer.
