Does the Washer-Desinfectors norm prEN ISO 15883 also covers/ has to be followed for simple Automatic Washers for cleaning only?

If you look at Page 5 of the prEN ISO 15883 you will find the answer. It is depending of the use of your machine, whether or not, this norm is applicable. It basically is a fact that as soon as your machine is used for medical devices or other items as mentioned in the scope, the norm is valid. If you use the machine for laundry or catering activities the norm is not applicable.
