Subject: Standard calculations

Dear Collegues

I need your valued experience in the following issues

  1. Standard time required for the processing of different types of sterile packs (reuseable sets,disposable packs and textile packs)
  2. volume of sterile goods required per bed with respect to speciality i.e general surgery, gynaecology, ....etc

  1. if you keep Good Practice (i.e flashing,washing, disinfecting, sterilizing + preventive maintenance), there is no reason why 3.5 min of exposue period will not satisfy. Anyhow, follow the procedure: 1. Study 2. Development 3. Validation !!!!
  2. This is a long issue starting with locally policy of Health Service.
