Subject: Reprocessing of minimal invasive surgical instrumentation

I am writing on behalf of a client who is just embarking upon the reprocessing of minimal invasive surgical instrumentation including laporoscopes and would be grateful if anyone could advise of recent literature describing validated processes for both decontamination and sterilization of such devices?

Thanking you in anticipation,
Gillian Sills

RTD probes are now available for insertion into laporoscopic instruments for thermometric pq testing. The steris system1 also achieves a 10 -3 sal which may be enough for the classification of minimal evasive surgery.
