Ethylene oxide will expire and form polymer chains. You should follow the expiration date of on the container. If there is no expiration date, I would assume the container has a shelf life of 3 months from the day the container is filled. This assumes the container is stored under proper conditions (not exposed to excess heat). Let me know if you need more information.
