Packages for plasma sterilization should be made from Tyvek. You may use rolls, pouches or tyvek sheets. Some rigid containers have been approved for plasma sterilization.

Dear,

Yaffa forgot to mention also polypropylene sterilization wraps are compatible with Sterrad.
The packaging method and labeling doesn't differ from other sterilization techniques but try to limit the use of cellulose e.g. in labels (absorbant).
For more information you can consult e.g. the FAQs page on sterilization packaging on the Kimberly Clark website: www.kchealthcare.com.

Best regards,
Wim Renders

Instruments for low temperature plasma sterilization may be packaged in a few different ways. Instrument sets may be placed in metal mesh-bottom trays and wrapped with polypropylene wrap, or in STERRAD Aprimax trays that can be wrapped using polypropylene or contained in Tyvek pouches. Some container systems have been approved for use in STERRAD Sterilizaton Systems. Single instruments can be placed in Tyvek pouches.
