Has any one any idea when the new standard for linen will be introduced and in what form it will take, or has any body know were I can obtain a draft copy,for information only.

I understand you refer to EN 13795: "Surgical coverings, gowns and clean air suits, used as medical devices, for patients, clinical staff and equipment". Part 1: "General requirements for manufacturers, processors and products" was accepted by the CEN member states in October 2002 and introduced in May 2003.
It is expected that Part 2: "Test methods" and Part 3: "Requirements" will be approved within 2 years.
