I have heard a lot about plasma bieng not suitable for sterilizing of flexible endoscopes but i still need a document to accept that.

do you know were can i find such document, or an internet link to it?

Plasma is one of the good systems as Low temp. Gas sterilization but it is not suitable for the flexible endoscopes for the following Reasons:

1. Temp. is high, in general the Plasma sterilization temp. affect the internal components of the scope
2. Also it is not possible to make sterilization for the internal parts
3. It must be subjected to Disinfection level before

for the sterilization of Flexible endoscopes there are two systems that use chemical as sterilization for internal & External parts like the system of CISA company - Italy that have one machine model ERS used as Disinfection & sterilization for flexible endoscopes.

Plasma sterilization may be used for some models of flexible endoscopes. Several models of endoscopes from different manufacturers have been tested in the STERRAD Sterilization System.
For information regarding a particular endoscope model, please contact either the scope manufacturer or the ASP Customer Care Center.
