I am creating a theatre store for sterile instruments and consumables, and I need to know what legislation there is cocerning layout and enviromental conditions.

Hi Michael,

I would start by looking at the relevant Health Building Note for Operating Theatres, I'm sure there's an equivelant to the HBN13 used for Sterile Services Departments. HBN 13 has a specification for a processed goods store (though it is intended for short term storage) look at paragraphs 4.154 through to 4.161. Other than legislation which applies to all workplaces, I'm not aware of anything other than Guidance Documents that you need to adhere to.
