Subject: Nasendoscopes

I have recently been part of a team auditing decontamination processes within my Trust. I would be grateful to have any feedback on how out-patient departments are re-processing their flexible nasendoscopes during a busy clinic.

Dear Jacqui

NHS Ayrshire & Arran published in Issue No 1, March 2004 section 9 "Recommendation for Cleaning Disinfection and Sterilisation of Endoscopes" on page 16/12.0 Flexible Nasendoscopes...at: www.show.scot.nhs.uk/nhsayrshireandarran/infectcon/manual2004/Section9.pdf
Check your local NHS for current version.
