Subject: LINVATEC-ZIMMER arthroscopy instrument

Dear colleages,

Is anyone familiar with Linvatec reusable, cannulated suture guides for shoulder arthroscopy? They are 15cm long with a curly tip, like a pigs tail. The ends do not fit onto the W-D attachment for lumen instruments, nor attach to any pistol nozzles for manual cleaning. Zimmer give only general guidlines and product no special cleaning accesories. The manufacturer say that these products are marketed worldwide and no-one has raised this issue with them, before now.
However they are reluctant to provide me with a list of medical centres/users to allow me to discuss the matter with other SSD managers. How have you solved the problem?

Seasons Greetings to all in EFHSS!
Linda
