Subject: Load not dry in a Gravity Cycle

Question:

Can you tell me why the load which is generally tubings is not dry after the process complete?

  1. The Sterilizer is Getinge Castle HC733 model.
  2. Gravity cycle was used. Temp 121 degrees Centigrade.
  3. Drying time 30 Mins.

was it ever dry?
if positive, check the steam quality, steam traps, strainers, loading, packages, preparation procedure
why gravity cycle?
If you study a new process, develop your study. consider the tubings, the package, the way of loading, the autoclave.
When you assume you finished, prove thr effectiveness of the cycle - validate it.
