Subject: Trends in Steriliser usage in Different parts of Europe

I am Conducting study on the Usage trends of Sterilisers and disinfectors in the hospital environment in different parts of Europe.
I would like to know in particular, what are the sterilisation methods that are most preferred in different countries in Europe. It would be really helpful if someone could throw somw light on this issue.

On behalf of the U.K. the preferred sterilization method is 'steam under pressure in a porous load autoclave'. I belive that this also applies to mainland Europe although there are some variations in preferred sterilization temperature and holding time. The U.K. standard is 134C + 3 - 0 degrees centigrade for a holding time of 3.5 minutes.
