Subject: Cleaning of Plastic Polymer Container Lids

Hello,
I have some problems with plastic container lids that changed their color (faded). Can anyone help me with instruction how to clean them? Can I put them in my Washer Disinfector? What detergents are prohibited in use with these types of lids? ...
Thanks!
Noam

Dear Noam,

As for the alluminium containers, you have to be sure that the detergent product used is compatible with your plastic polymer lids.
Some CSD are now using a specific Neutral or Enzymatic product to clean the containers and other plastic trays.
You can probably ask to your supplier to provide the material compatibilities regarding the type of detergent used in your washing machine.

Best Regards
