Subject: Gamma / ETO Sterilization

Dear Sir,

I would like to know whether as for Surgical Gown Spunlace (Klinidrape), are using Gamma or ETO Sterilizaton.

Please kindly explain clearly because what I have heard was they use ETO Sterilization and they can't use Gamma due to the material of Spunbond at the reinforced area. Is this correct information?

Please advice.

Best Regards,

Jany

Hi JANY
Gamma radiation sometimes can alter the physical properties of some material like polyurethan, plastics, sponges affecting the appearance and elasticity., so for klinidrape its right to use ETO instead of Gamma radiation because it is a multi component surgical dressing
