Dear

Chemical inicators should meet the requirements of relevant standards (e.g. EN 867, ISO 11140) and should be used only for the process specified by the manufacturer.

Process Indicators Criteria
Method Temperature Endpoint Reaction
Steam 121°C 2 min - 10 min
Steam 132°C - 135°C ± 3°C 20 sec - 2 min
Dry Heat 160°C ± 5°C 20 min - 40 min

Endpoint definition as defined by AANSI/AAMI:
The observable change specified by the manufacturer that occurs after the chemical indicator has been exposed to certain predefined physical conditions.

Kind regards
Josy Holdener
