Subject: Causes for Haemolysis after collecting Blood.

Dear sirs,

I would like to Know the causes for Haemolysis after collection of Blood in Blood Bags and also the effect of change in temperature conditions on Haemolysis.

Please clarify me in this regard.

many reasons can cause blood haemolysis of blood in blood bags among these are mechanical stress ,elevated temperature, chemical residues such as formadehide, chloramine_t, surfactants, high temperature increase the rate of blood haemolysis
