Introduction

The Institute of Decontamination Sciences, formerly known as Institute of Sterile Services Management (ISSM), is committed to initiating educational programmes for its members and those aspiring to membership with the object of achieving standards of excellence amongst staffs operating in the field of medical device management.

IDSc works collaboratively with other health care organisations and government departments in developing standards and guidelines for the safe and effective decontamination of reusable medical devices.

The Institute welcomes enquiries from all health care professionals working in medical device decontamination and related fields.

IDSc Publications

The Official Journal of the Institute of Decontamination Sciences is the IDSc Journal which is published every three months.
